A resounding 78 percent of the people surveyed found the performance of PM Modi to be outstanding/good. Only 5 percent of the respondents found the government's performance to be poor.
The vote of confidence in the prime minister comes at a time when India is facing the dual crises of the coronavirus pandemic as well as escalating border tensions with China.
